Sightline - Creekside

The first flurries arrive and announce the coming of winter. Much of the foliage that still clings to branches will soon fall under the weight of new, wet snow. Miraculously, a few plants hold fast to their leaves throughout the winter, even when encrusted with ice. Snow settles between the slender stems to create patterns of light/dark, green/red and warm/cool along the creekside.
