Dragon's Big Adventure

At first, the swirling waves that tossed Rupert about frightened him. He thrashed wildly, tiring himself to the point of near exhaustion. It was then that he realized he could simply float and let the water move him to and fro. The water cooled his hot skin, which felt delightfully refreshing to a dragon who had never before traveled beyond the sun-drenched olive orchard. And when he accidentally swallowed a mouthful of salt water, and steam came out of his nose, everyone thought it was a marvellous trick.

Rupert's visit to the seaside was full of new adventures, and his cousins promised to teach him how to dive for fish the following day.
