Closing Reception 1:00 - 3:00pm Friday, November 20, 2026

 With staggered bid closing from 1:30 - 3:00pm

Successful bidders may complete their purchase and pick up items after bidding is completed on Friday November 20th.

Those who are unable to attend the closing will receive a phone call to arrange pick up on Monday Nov. 23 or Tuesday Nov. 24, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the clubhouse.

A volunteer committee of the Residents of Heritage Village is holding a silent auction to donate to The Next Chapter Fund Raising Campaign. All proceeds go to the Library - Rittenhouse Branch for their new addition. "The Next Chapter" is a $5 million expansion and renovation project for the Moses F. Rittenhouse Branch of the Lincoln Pelham Library in Vineland, Ontario. The 30-year-old branch at 4080 John Charles Boulevard will double in size with a 6,000-square-foot addition, aiming to become Lincoln's first Net-Zero building.

The Next Chapter Project Highlights
New Features: Includes new meeting rooms, study areas, and an Indigenous reflection space.
Green Upgrades: Features sustainable net-zero carbon design and a brand-new roof to fix current leaking issues.
Funding: Backed by a $2 million federal grant from the Green and Inclusive Community Buildings Program alongside a $1.5 million public fundraising campaign.

This Silent Auction Follows the Government of Ontario Auction Rules

Bids must be made in person on a Bid Sheet at the HVRC Clubhouse, 3425 Frederick Ave, Vineland, ON L0R 2C0

By placing a bid, you agree that all sales are final. Items are sold "as-is" condition with no refunds or exchanges. The organizers assume no responsibility for the ability for any risk, injury or damage associated with the risk of any items or safety of any items.

All bidders must register their full name, phone number and or email, clearly on the provided registration sheet.

  1. Heritage Village Recreation Club members and Silent Auction committee make no representation regarding an item's value beyond the information supplied by the donor and/or stated on the bid sheet.
  2. All bids must be written clearly on the bid sheet and must meet or exceed the stated bid increment.
  3. The highest qualifying bid at the closing time wins the item, provided the reserve bid, if any, has been met.
  4. The successful bidder is legally bound to pay the full amount at the close of the auction.
  5. The auction committee reserves the right to reject an unclear or incomplete bid or a bid that does not comply with the stated bidding requirements.
  6. The auction closes at the time announced by the auction committee. Bids received after the closing time will not be accepted.
  7. In the event of a tie between qualifying bids, the auction committee will determine the winning bid by the method announced at the event.
  8. All sales are final. Items may not be exchanged or returned unless the donor or Heritage Village Recreation Club has specifically stated otherwise.
  9. Bidders are responsible for reviewing the description, condition, restrictions and any expiry dates associated with an item before bidding.
  10. Where an item is a gift certificate, voucher, experience or service, any restrictions, blackout dates, expiry dates or other conditions stated by the donor apply.
  11. Payment is due when the auction closes. Items must be paid for and collected as directed by the auction committee, on or before November 24th at 6:00pm. 
  12. Any item not paid for by 6:00pm on Nov. 24th will be offered to the next highest bidder.
  13. Payment may be made by cash, cheque payable to Lincoln Pelham Public Library or transfer ap@lppl.ca
  14. The auction committee's determination of the winning bid is final.
  15. No charitable donation receipt will be issued for the amount paid for an auction item. Any donor receipt will be issued only where permitted under applicable Canada Revenue Agency rules and Lincoln, Pelham Library charitable receipting policy.
  16. All persons must be 19 years old for any items of spirits or wine.
