Painting Evolution! Negative Painting Transformations

Small berries and leaves magically appear in this short video. Negative painting techniques are demonstrated with Holbein acrylic paint on Ampersand Claybord panel.

In case you would like to know: 

The colour palette includes heavy body (tubes) Cadmium Red, Raw Sienna, Greenish Yellow and Ultramarine Blue.

Transparent dark glazes are made with the addition of Hooker's Green and Imidazolone Brown fluid acrylic.

Titanium White has been mixed with the colours in the palette fro make the backlight effects.

The final, UB Blue glaze has been thinned with Holbein Painting Medium.
