Studio tip: storage that makes creating easier (and prettier!)

A perfect fit!
Finding smart storage for art supplies is always worth sharing. The old saying “A place for everything and everything in its place” couldn’t be more true with these Ikea ALEX drawer units. I chose two of the largest models, and they’re game changers:
🎨 Deep drawers at the bottom are the perfect height for my fluid acrylic bottles (Holbein Mat Acrylics and heavy body tubes have their own drawers too!).
📦 Shallow drawers are just right for keeping archival packaging bags neat and ready to go.
ALEX drawers come in white, grey and brown/black. Assembling the drawer units was a project on its own but the instructions were very clear and everything fit together perfectly. (The big box is very heavy so I needed to open the crate and carry a the pieces up to the loft, a few at a time.) Now with space for a third, I will be watching for a sale.

Organized supplies = more time for painting.
